Day Three

What a busy day!

The day began with insurance, or trying to find some; including a 30 minute conversation which resulted with a quote for £87 plus £250 excess- all before I had gotton out of my pajamas. Rather amusingly this little venture which started out as a hobby, was turned into a major business with my sister as an employee after the telephone conversation! 🙂  You can guess that the situation still has not been sorted.

It was then to Mum’s for lunch and to show her all of this hard work. I also had to break the news of the craft fair- which she and my aunt were amused by, especially when I had explained the insurance debacle. Then it was off to buy supplies for this craft venture of mine.

I love shopping anyway- but shops with little bits for making things with is absolutely divine. I didn’t find everything that I needed but I did find something else…..

I have made buttons and beads!

This stuff is great! It is like Fymo sea side rock. You warm it in warm water for 10 minutes then you can roll it, slice it, make holes in it, anything you like. Then you bake it in the oven at 130 oC for 30 minutes. I absolutely love them, I only hope that they don’t become brittle and snap before I have time to use them in future projects.

Watch out for sightings of these in projects very soon.

See you tomorrow. xxxxxx

  1. The Friendly Clay Millefiore Cane- I bought it from Whichcraft near CCC between Bramall lane and London Road. These little trips out my family are taking me on is costing me a fortune! (But this stuff is not that expensive!)
