I’ve got lots to show you today.
This morning I set out to organise and sort out all of my craft tranklements that my husband (DH) has been quietly putting up with as they have spread all over the house. He doesn’t complain – let’s face it he never really notices preferring to keep his head tucked into his laptop. So when I commented on the fact that there was craft stuff in every room it was met with a raised eyebrow and:
“I’m glad you’ve noticed at last!”
So off I headed into town to find boxes for fiddly bits and pieces. It didn’t take me long to find what I wanted. I’m not sure how practical they are but they will look fabulous on the shelves.
Unfortunately some Cath Kidston scissors simply fell into my hands begging me to take them home too. Being a very compassionate person I couldn’t leave them there, so they came home too.
Shopping bought- nothing too heavy as I still can’t lift heavy stuff, it was home to declutter.
On arrival home I had received a message to say that friends were popping around this afternoon. A very welcome surprise, but that led to scurrying (well move snail like with no bending over) around to kick the house into some sort of order time -remembering to shut all the bedroom doors and hide the chaos behind them! (Go on admit it – you do it too!)
An excellent afternoon was had- drinking coffee and eating biscuits, showing off everything that had been made since being off. Not much craft was done however. By the time tea time had come I still had not started anything for today’s project, and the clutter was still sitting on the conservatory table praying on my A level Catholic guilt.
I therefore set too. Please forgive me if I don’t show you todays offerings. It has been started and will be finished either later tonight or tomorrow. But I have got this to show you…
Hold on I’ll get closer……
My home-made beads! I absolutely love this doily. I actually made this last night I was so excited about my little creations, and I finished this after midnight so you could say that this is today’s offering. I can’t wait to use the rest of the beads that I have made.
Well this is post five, and I must say I am absolutely loving this blogging malarky. There is something very therapeutic about writing experiences, thoughts and ideas down in black and white. Can I say a big thankyou to you for checking in and reading my daily ramblings. It’s good to know that someone is reading this. Thankyou also for the lovely comments.
Night night. See you tomorrow xxxxx
