Day Seven

Standard

How quickly are these days going! It seems only 5 minutes ago that I was setting up this blog, and here we are a week later.

Today has been a go slow day. I was supposed to be meeting a friend but unfortunately post op sickness took over and I had to cancel. It is miserable at the moment as I can’t plan too far in advance, and have had to cry off on quite a few things as tummy rumbles and tiredness have taken over.

Despite feeling somewhat under the weather I decided that I would not let it spoil my day completely and set to completing the patchwork project that I started on Friday – day 4.

And here it is –

Hand sewing stitched into a cushion cover.

Unfortunately the colours of this piece has not come out well on the photograph, but I was really pleased with the finished article. I decided at the weekend that I needed to focus on the different things that I have to make for the craft stall. Patchwork comes very easily to meas it was one of the first creative things that I learnt to do, and so I am making a range of patchwork cushion covers and table dressings for the big day.

Good news- I think I have just about got the insurance cracked too. I will update you tomorrow when DH has read through the paperwork.

I hope you don’t think I am cheating, but I have already started tomorrows craft experience. What can I say, I am finding a real buzz at the moment through making and it is really keeping me from going stir crazy. I decided that tomorrow I will be mostly knitting. As this takes me a while a need a head start.  It’s looking gorgeous at the minute.

See you tomorrow. xxxx
