Day 25- Good Friday

A slow day here at the blog- well that is as it should be; it being Good Friday.

It was the first day of the school holidays- so the monsters wanted to be entertained. I am sure I had to entertain myself when I was younger- without all the technology. God forbid that they use their imaginations; but there again their heads might explode! Shopping with Roo is never a good idea, but today he was very tired, so it was a nightmare! Good start to the holiday! I can’t wait for the next two weeks.

Having faffed for the past couple of days I had to get myself organised as the boxes purchased for finished products are still half empty. Operation craft fair is well under way. I am determined to get things done for the first part of next week, and then I have got time to finish anything that needs doing, and tie up any loose ends- literally!

Anyway I’m not hanging about today. Here are today’s makes…..

Starting with blue…..

Black, white and pink……

and finally green…………

As you can see it was a bread basket making fest today! Half way through making these, my sewing machine decided that it had had enough. I was halfway down a seam when I took my foot off the peddle; only  for the machine to continue operating- spooky. I actually think I have a sticky peddle; there’s nothing worse! I may need to send an SOS to big sister to see if I can borrow her machine. What a time for a malfunction!

I was pondering while I was creating today. What am I going to do when this craft fair is over? What am I going to talk about? It is going to be very strange not setting myself a target every day; and just making things for myself. I am enjoying what I am doing, don’t get me wrong, but it does appear to be taking over the house and my life a little!

Anyway I will have lots of lovely things to show again tomorrow. Already started! See you later. xxxxxx
