Day 32- Easter Friday.

Good evening USA, Iceland, Norway and GB.

What an eventful day!

I decided that after such a busy week on the make, (and DH back at work) that I would spend the day doing whatever the children wanted to do. After two hours of squabbling and them objecting to any suggestions that I made; we set out… Mcdonald’s! :-(….. and then onto Toys R Us! I ask you, they could have gone anywhere, and done anything. I would have objected , but they held me to the fact that I said that they could decide what we were going to do.

We returned home after three quarters of an hour looking at video games, and yucking at the girly pink aisles. Faces were long as I refused to buy the £50 light up Buzz LIghtyear, the £150 play mobile kit or the £300 motorised Ferrari that they wanted. Boo decided that he was going out for a walk, and Roo decided he was going too. I allowed them to go, so long as the walk was no further than 10m up the road, and 10m down the road, and that no roads were to be crossed. In other words they stayed outside the front of the house.

All was well to begin with. They were checked on every two minutes…but then things went quiet!.

The rest of the afternoon was spent searching the local park for the monsters who had in fact gone the 100 metres to the park and crossed 3 roads; and then a further Km around the park. Fortunately they had been spotted by a neighbour who steered me in the right direction. As you can imagine I remained calm and said “Tush tush!” When I discovered them! (Apparently it was the 5 year old Roo’s fault; he made the nearly 9 year old Boo go!)

Monsters banned to their room, and the search called off, Moo and myself spent an enjoyable hour watching TV and finishing bits for tomorrow in peace.

Want to see?

The words are actually purple, but by the time I photographed this the light was failing, but I think you get the idea. I think this will brighten the stall.

Well I am posting this early this evening as I want to get to bed before 3.00 am tonight. It has been a hectic week, and it is beginning to take it’s toll. Having worked so hard I want to enjoy tomorrow, so I need sleep! I simply need to pack boxes ready for the car and sit down for a while knowing everything is ready. (Can you tell I am nervous?)

Anyway I will post as soon as I get back tomorrow to tell you about my day. I am looking forward to seeing everyone who said that they are coming, and thank you for all the good luck wishes.

Until tomorrow
