Day 38

Evening folks.

I’m not sure about your day, but mine was very lazy. DH and two of the monsters disappeared early to meet up with our visitors. Boo stayed with me to ‘Keep me company’. He really wanted to play on his new games; but the sentiment was there!

I decided to take advantage of the quiet time to sort out the growing pile of clothes at the end of the bed. It stated with the seed of a simple pair of shoes; but like Jack’s beanstalk, it had sprouted over night to include jumpers, skirts, trousers of all shapes and sizes. It needed organisation, so I set too and it was cleared within minutes. The only problem now is that I have to put it all away before I can get into bed. DH and the visitors arrived before I had chance. I suppose I could sleep on the sofa!

Lunch time came…smoked salmon chowder; yum!  (Must post the recipe)…and then chats, garden centre…and then goodbyes!

These days are really going quickly!

Roo was left with me while the others went to the train station. I was getting on with today’s make…Roo was getting angry with Club Penguin! He has only just started playing on computer games. He is quite good, but he has not got total control yet. The conversation went something like this…..

Roo: (Angrily) I can’t do it!

Me: Let me help.

Roo: I’m doing it. But I can’t do it!

(I grab the laptop, sort out the problem while Roo screams and hand it back.)

Roo: Oh! It’s fixed. See I can do it myself!

(Two minutes later)

Roo: I can’t do it……….

You get the picture!

So anyway today’s make. It is really more of the same as yesterday, but I am really pleased with how this is panning out. Have a look…….

As you can see it has grown. In fact…another clue to what this is going to be…This is one side of the project. As you can tell, I have not cast off but transferred the fabric to two double pointed pins. Any ideas about what this will be?

Hopefully this will be ready for a tadah tomorrow evening. I just want to get it finished to prove to myself that I can make up patterns myself.

See you tomorrow
