We have had a lovely day here, not the promised downpour, but a gorgeous spring day.
We grabbed the opportunity to venture into the great outdoors, and, monsters packed up, set out to Canon Hall Farm near Barnsley.
Now I know what you are thinking……Barnsley! Well I have news for you; Barnsley is part of the rolling hills of Yorkshire, and the countryside is beautiful. Canon Hall is to the west, outside a little village called Cawthorn. The hall itself was bought by Barnsley council in the 80’s. For many years they pondered what to do with it; now it is home to the countries largest exhibition of glass wear, and some of the rooms have been set aside for a museum. As for the farm……..
Well after such a busy day I bet you are wondering if I have made anything today? Well………….
Tadah! Some of you were right; I am really into tea cosy mode at the minute!
There are a few things that I would change when I make this again, but I don’t think this is bad for a first attempt. What do you think?
It still has to be padded and lined; but that is a job for tomorrow. Lots to do tomorrow.
See you then.
