Good evening. I hope you have had an eventful and fun filled day.
Well it has been busy, busy, Busy here on the make. After such a sore tummy yesterday I was really happy when I awoke this morning after a really good nights sleep…hurrah! The first I have had in a good few months. On entering the living room however my good mood suddenly disappeared. I had made my way to bed with a scrummily tidy room…but this morning! The monsters had been!
How can they make such a mess when they had only been down there for 10 minutes! Grrrrrrrrr!
So I set to………again. Honestly this house is like the painting of the Forth Rail bridge. I only wish that the housework was like the new paint that they now use…..one coat lasts a life time.
At lunch time I had to deliver one of the bread baskets. It was quite difficult making something to order. I felt very much under pressure. I have to admit to being very happy with the finished result…but I didn’t take a picture of it. Shock! Horror! Actually I am quite fed up with taking pictures of bread baskets, so you have to take my word for it being nice.
Anyway I spent the rest of the day preparing for the big project; and sorting out what I need to make for the next craft fair. Not much more as it happens. I was so manic for the last one, that I over prepared. So I am relaxing into quiet preparation, and hopefully I won’t be so stressed this time.
Now I know you will be disappointed but I have not got any photo’s… again, of my big make. I have made a pair of Baby Berry shoes however…that you have seen before, and cut out tote bags…that you have seen before. I don’t really want to repeat the pictures as it will all become samey and monotonous.
So I have had a look in my back catalogue and found these. I have a look every now and again to see if there is anything that will inspire me……..
Socks! I made these a couple of years ago when NL bought me a kit for my birthday. She was right about knitting socks becoming addictive too.
Pebbles. From one of my favourite beaches in Scotland. I want to use this in a project soon. Then I discovered this……..
We have had a quiet night!
See you tomorrow.
